About Quirky Quill

This blog is for and by young writers and readers, hosted and moderated by me, Sharon Kirk Clifton. It reflects a Christian world view. I encourage my young readers to leave comments. If they want to submit a longer letter or story, They should send it to the e-mail address on the home page.

Regarding stories, though my submission requirements aren't too stringent, I do ask these three things:

1. Double space your story.
2. Indent paragraphs.
3. Check spelling and punctuation.

I reserve the right to ask for a rewrite or a revision of submitted stories, if there are too many errors. That's for the writer's sake, as well as the readers'. I will not edit your work. No more than one story by a writer will be posted at a time, so send your best work. I'll post a story for a minimum of three days, though it may stay up longer.

I will also consider suggestions for the "Writer's Nudge" column. If you have a particular question related to writing or books, throw it at me. If I can answer it, I will.
